A woman and a child passes maoist propaganda in Kathmandu. The policeforces geared up for massive riots, but none erupted. April 10th 2008 the historic Consistuent assembly elections took place in Nepal, putting an end to a centuries of monarchy. The assembly will form a new constitution and abolish the monarchy and King Gyanendras rule.
